- Representation: Represent member interests on RD&I issues by lobbying and influencing for change and continuous improvement in RD&I policy formulation in Ireland and Europe.
- Information & Advice: Ensure a comprehensive advisory service to members on all RD&I supports available nationally and within Europe.
- RD&I Strategy: Support members to develop and implement RD&I strategies and plans.
- Grants: Guide members through the process of applying for R&D grants including the vetting of applications.
- Tax Credits: Guide members through the process of RD&I Tax Credit claims including preparation for technical audits.
- Enterprise Innovation Network (EIN): Operate an EIN, a network that is designed to stimulate innovation networking among industry and sector groups. Involving regional events and social media members can share insight and expertise, and engage with academic and professional bodies to broaden perspectives and experience.
- Collaboration: Facilitate and promote collaboration with the Higher Education Institutes (HEI’s) where the opportunity to engage the talent of research and development partners can support an organisation turn an idea into real profit.
- Learning: Provide exposure to innovation best practice learning to members on such topics as Ideation, NPD process management, Intellectual Property management and Project Management.
